Step back in time at the Gaskell Ball, a grand Victorian affair held in the stunning Scottish Rite Ballroom in Oakland. Immerse yourself in an evening of grace and charm, as elegant tailcoats and swirling ball gowns sweep across the floor to the music of the Brassworks Band. Enjoy classic dances like the waltz, polka, mazurka, schottische, and delightful patterned dances, all easily learned and danced throughout the night. Between sets, take a break at our potluck snack buffet and savor the famous Gaskell punch, while catching up with familiar faces or meeting new friends during the evening’s three band breaks.

This is a formal Victorian ball - Formal Attire is required. No jeans or casual clothing.
